Sound Recorder Pro 2.1.3.1

Sound Recorder Pro Editor's Review

As the name suggests, 'Sound Recorder Pro' is a software meant to help you create audio files by recording from different sources. The program is very simple and all its features are listed on its user interface. Besides the needed record, pause, and stop buttons, you have volume controls for the sources it can record from. In the trial version you can record only 40 seconds. I think this is enough to form an opinion about the program's capabilities.

While reading the help file I've run into the next paragraph: 'Sound Recorder Pro can edit audio files as you desire by cutting, copying, pasting, trimming segments and employing various DSP effects.' This is very odd because I wasn't able to find those features. Maybe they are available only in the full version but in this case how can I, as a user, test the program's features to see if it meets my needs? Another feature that exists but it's not so easy to spot is the 'Recording Schedule'. You can find it only if you click the right button of the mouse while it is on top of the user interface.

Pluses: Good quality of the output file.

Drawbacks / flaws: In the 'Help' file there are mentioned some features which I didn't find while testing the program.

In conclusion: As I mentioned above, the quality of the output files is high so it can be very helpful if you need to do some quality recordings.
